# Cythère

> Cythère is an independent creative studio that does brand and direction, web
> and product, film and photography, and builds an AI-powered media engine —
> all in one place, rather than handing any of it off. Led by founder Jim
> Forsius, who does the brand, the copy, the photography, the interaction
> design and the code himself. Every medium, one studio.

Cythère works with founders and companies who need someone to work out what a
thing should be and then build it, rather than a specialist who executes a
brief that already exists. Most brands break at the seams: strategy from one
company, identity from another, the site and the film from two more, and none
of them quite agree. Cythère exists to remove those seams.

## What Cythère does

- **Brand and direction** — identity, positioning, art direction, the whole
  visual language of a company.
- **Web and product** — sites and interfaces designed and coded by the same
  person who designed the brand they carry.
- **Film and photography** — direction, shooting, editing and colour, in
  house.
- **Automated Media Engine** — an AI-powered production engine that turns one
  idea into a month of on-brand short-form video. A studio's taste, at machine
  scale.

## The Automated Media Engine

Brands need video every day, and every existing option is bad: agencies are
slow, freelancers drift off-brand, and general-purpose LLMs produce generic AI
slop. The engine is a fourth option. A brand is briefed once; the studio holds
the direction and the machine holds the volume, so nothing that ships reads as
AI-generated. It is a real production system, not a wrapper around a video
model.

## Who runs it

Cythère is led by **Jim Forsius** — founder, designer, creative director and
digital storyteller. He has launched startups, designed brands, told stories on
film and shipped products, often in the same month. Crossing disciplines is the
job, not indecision. A client working with Cythère works directly with the
founder; there is no account layer and no handoff.
